Starts Monday, November 2 · 7 live weeks + a January integration call

Different by December

Same goals. Same journal entries. Same cycle. This is the year you find out why, and play your way out of it.

By December: you'll finally be doing the thing you keep putting off. You'll understand the pattern that kept interrupting it, and you'll have real evidence that you've changed.

Join Different by DecemberDoors close Sunday, November 1

Pull out your journal from five years ago.

Read it. How much of it could you have written this morning?

Some things you achieved. But so much is the same. The same goals. The same frustrations. The same "this is the month I finally..." Written again and again, like Groundhog Day.

It isn't because you're lazy. And it isn't because you don't really want it.

The real reason

We're afraid of what being different would cost us.

We say we want the change. But underneath the wanting is a fear we rarely say out loud. So we talk about it, write about it, think about it, and stay exactly where we are.

  • Who might be disappointed if I change?
  • Who might I outgrow?
  • Will I still belong where I am now?
  • Who would I be if I actually did it?

Two paths to December

Nothing stays the same. The only question is which way you're moving.

If nothing changes

  • January comes, and you write the same goals again.
  • The habit you meant to break is a year deeper.
  • You're a little more tired of hearing yourself say "next month."
  • Another year of giving your time to everyone but you.
  • You're not standing still. You're quietly sliding back.

If you're different by December

  • January comes, and you're already living what you used to write about.
  • You've caught the pattern and chosen differently, again and again.
  • You trust yourself, because you've watched yourself follow through.
  • Your goal has a place in your week, and you protect it.
  • You feel the difference, and so do the people around you.

You don't need a new life. You need to stop letting this one repeat. Different by December is the moment you choose which path you're on.

In real life

What different looks like by December

The cycles we repeat usually show up in three places. Here's what changes when you stop letting them run on autopilot.

Health

  • You stop waiting for Monday and start the walk, the meal, the early night today.
  • You notice when you eat for comfort, and choose something that truly feeds you.
  • You make the appointment you've been putting off.

Finances

  • You stop avoiding your numbers and actually look at them.
  • You say no to spending that's really about pleasing someone else.
  • You ask for what you're worth, and you don't apologise for it.

Relationships

  • You say no without a long explanation, and without the guilt.
  • You have the conversation you've been rehearsing in your head for months.
  • You let people help you, instead of carrying everything yourself.

How you'll break through

When resistance shows up, you won't face it alone.

Every cycle has a moment where the old response takes over. That's the moment that changes everything. In our live sessions, I'll walk you through it, step by step, until the new response feels natural.

  1. 1

    Recognise it

Name the belief or fear behind a familiar response.

  2. 2

    Question it

Explore whether it still reflects what you actually want.

  3. 3

    Rehearse it

Practise a different response, in your body as well as your mind.

  4. 4

    Review it

Look at what happened, learn from it, and adjust.

Felt in your body, not just your head

Our live sessions include embodied practices: crossing a threshold and walking as the person you're becoming, tapping through the fear of change, noticing where the automatic yes lives in your body, and mirror work. Every practice is an invitation. You can always watch first.

How you practise

Less thinking. More doing. And proof you can see.

Between sessions, a simple, playful rhythm keeps you moving and helps you notice how far you've come.

Different Moves

Small daily actions, out in your life. Some take five minutes, others need a little more time, depending on what you're working on.

Evidence Bank

Each move you take is a deposit. Watch the proof of who you're becoming add up.

Weekly Celebration

Every week we celebrate what you did, together. Small wins count.

If you'd like a small group to cheer you on, you can join an optional pod. Pods celebrate what everyone does together, with no rankings and no pressure.

What changed for them

Small steps. Real change.

From participants in The Audacity Experiment, my 21-day program, shared with permission.

"I stopped second guessing myself so much. Even when I felt nervous, I started saying, 'Let's just do it.' What surprised me most were the bold steps I took and the consistency I built."
Adrice Sophia
The Audacity Experiment participant
"I'm glad I stayed with it and was consistent. One of my biggest changes was learning to stand up for myself without feeling guilty. The support was really valuable, and the experience helped me bring more routine and intention into my life."
Sonia Codrington
The Audacity Experiment participant
"The mirror work became emotional for me. It showed me how little we sometimes speak positively to ourselves and how powerful it is to really look at yourself and do that."

Your guide

Hi, I'm Merle-Tracey.

I'm a Thought Architect and the founder of Architect Your Life. My work helps people tell the difference between the choices that are truly theirs and the ones they were conditioned to make, and then act on what they actually want.

I created The Audacity Experiment, where participants practised bold action and self-trust every day. I've also guided women through wellness programs and retreats, and I lead a hospitality business in Montserrat. Through all of it, I've seen the same thing: lasting change comes from small, felt actions, repeated with support.

I'm doing Different by December too. I'll share my own moves along the way, because I don't want to read the same journal entry next year either.

Questions

I'm already so busy. Can I keep up?

Yes. Small daily actions: some take five minutes, others need a little more time, depending on what you're working on. Plus one weekly live session. The point is changing your life without waiting for a quieter week.

What if I can't make the live sessions?

Every session is recorded, and you have lifetime access to the replays. Catch up whenever it suits you, keep doing your daily moves, and share in the community.

Do I have to share things publicly?

No. Everything happens in a private community, and pods are optional. Share as much or as little as you like.

What if I miss a day?

You pick up where you are. Coming back is part of breaking a cycle, not a sign you've failed.

What happens over the holidays?

We celebrate before the holidays begin. Then there's light holiday practice with no live calls, and we meet again for the January integration call.

Is this a subscription?

No. It's a one-time payment in US dollars. Payment plans are available if you'd like to spread the cost.

I'm already in Audacity in Practice. Is this included?

Different by December is its own program. Members, check the Audacity in Practice group for a special offer.

This time next year, do you want to be reading the same journal entry?

Or do you want to look back and not recognise the person who wrote it?
